This company exists because one woman was brave enough to fight for her dream in the face of overwhelming adversity and keep a promise she made to her children. 
 
What was her dream? She wanted to use her talents, skills and passion to make children laugh, read and succeed. She planned to do this by building an amazing, multicultural, global media company. She promised her children that this company would not just be a legacy for them, but for children all over the world.

But her dream would come at a price. 

Day after day, she fought violent criticism and physical and mental abuse. But she did not give up. For fifteen years, she did not give in. Eventually, her children were taken from her and kept in another country.  

So, what did she do? She travelled across the other side of the world and rescued her six children. 

Four months later, and fifteen long years after she conceived her dream, she fulfilled her promise to her children and launched this company.
