Lady Rabia Abdul-Hakim, CEO and Founder, ContessaBlack Entertainment, is the creative genius behind the company’s dynamic multicultural family entertainment properties. As CEO, she oversees all of ContessaBlack Entertainment's strategic operations for product launch into television and video production, publishing, consumer products licensing and live events. Additionally, Lady Rabia is also responsible for increasing the company’s portfolio by creating and acquiring exceptional multicultural children’s brands.
A fledging entrepreneur and creative pioneer, prior to founding ContessaBlack Entertainment, Lady Rabia was the Co-founder and Chief Creative Officer of BIG Cause (Arabia), the first specialized social marketing and communications agency in Saudi Arabia.
Previously, Lady Rabia was a marketing and communications consultant with an impressive array of uber premium clients such as King Faisal Foundation and Al-Nahda Philanthropic Women’s Society.
The published author of over forty-eight short children’s stories and articles, Lady Rabia began her publishing career in Saudi Arabia, for Qkids Magazine, where she went on to become an editor and was responsible for the restructuring of the magazine. She was later also commissioned to edit and rewrite The Biography of the Noble Prophet Mohammad. Lady Rabia is also the author of Rising: Powerful Poetry and the upcoming titles, Growing Up Carib and A Mother’s Promise.
